New Post

Ever felt like you're constantly chasing after new content ideas for LinkedIn? You're definitely not alone in facing this "content fatigue."

But let me share a secret with you:

Your content has a much longer shelf life than you might expect.

I recently ran an experiment where I reposted a LinkedIn update that had been very successful a few months earlier.

The results? The repost outperformed the original by 6 times the impressions and 2 times the engagement.

And this is not the first time I did this. Look at these ones, which are only a slight variation of the same post:

It turns out, my audience had grown, and many of them were seeing this content for the first time. For those who had seen it before, it was a valuable reminder.

This experience showed me that great content remains relevant. It's all about timing and presentation.

Embrace Repetition: Your New Strategy

Top content creators understand this well. Think about the music hits that use familiar chords or the blockbuster movies that follow "The Hero’s Journey." They all recycle a winning formula.

I've used this approach to dramatically increase my LinkedIn growth. And my clients experienced the same dramatic increase when applying the same tactic.

When you find what works, don't be shy about using it again.

The Art of Content Repackaging

Your online impact isn't just about what you share but how you present it. Using consistent visual templates can help keep your creativity flowing even when you're running dry.

“Templates” to consider:

  • Your story (your business story) on repeat

  • Before-and-after transformations

  • Detailed cheatsheets

  • Engaging quotes

Reusing a winning formula ensures your content stays fresh and continues to engage your audience, even amidst the constant barrage of new posts.

Here's What You Can Do Next:

  • Identify your top 10 LinkedIn posts. Click here to get your best ones.

  • You don’t have much content yet? No problem. Get inspiration from your favorite creators with a tool like Kleo. It works like this:

Install Kleo and then use to study your favorite creators’ bets performing posts.

  • Pick your favorite post that performed well for you or that you want to repurpose and save it in a cheatsheet of posts to reuse.

  • Use tools like ChatGPT to turn these into templates you can reuse.

Use my favorite prompt to create this template:

You are a templatization machine. Your primary task is to thoroughly analyze any piece of text I provide, focusing on its structure, formatting, writing style, tone, and any other relevant attributes.

After your analysis, you will generate a versatile template derived from that text. This template will guide me in crafting similar content in the future with consistent style and formatting. Ensure your response is detailed, clear, and as comprehensive as possible.

The template you provide is going to be used in conjunction with copywriting prompts, so the template should contain brackets where new information will be entered.

You MUST follow these rules or you will get this wrong and the project will fail:

- Only provide the raw template; don't include headings or additional explanations
- The structure of the template show follow the provided piece of text

To ensure you get this absolutely right, here is an example of what your template should look like, below:

Most [TARGET AUDIENCE] experience [COMMON PROBLEM].

This is because they lack [SPECIFIC ISSUE] with their target buyers - a direct symptom of [CORE PROBLEM].

So, they [REACTION TO PROBLEM] to acquire leads but waste:
